Disability Equality (nw) Community Hub is located at
23, Sedgwick Street, Preston PR1 1TP.
At our official opening in May 2025 we discussed access in the Hub and asked those attending what they would like us to change and what facilities they would like in the Hub.
We asked, you told us and we listened – we have had extensive work done to offer a fully accessible community venue, including a Casual Café area, opening 5 days a week: 9.30am to 4pm Monday through to Friday.
People are welcome drop in during these times to join our events and activities, to access up to date information and advice, to access support from staff in our other services or to simply use this wonderful new facility.
Blue Badge parking available adjacent to building on Sedgwick street and on ? Street. Other on street parking available nearby and paid parking in the Noor Mosque carpark opposite on St Pauls Road.
Our community hub is also available for hire including smaller spaces as required.
To enquire about hiring please contact beth@disability-equality.org.uk or visit https://disability-equality.org.uk/services/room-hire/ or telephone 01772 558863.
