Today some of our staff attended a First Aid at Work training course delivered by Dave O’Connell from Tutorcare. The course covered managing emergencies and injuries, such as CPR, handling shock, and treating cuts and burns, along with the role of a first aider. It also includes the use of a defibrillator (AED), head and spinal injuries, and maintaining health and safety regulations.
Our service users can be assured we have qualified first aiders in the building 5 days a week just in case of any accidents or emergencies.
