As part of Volunteer week we love to celebrate, and it’s great to be recongised by the local communities too!
On June 3rd DENW team member Sandra and one of the volunteers (Stacey) attended a presentation at Preston Town Hall as part of National Volunteers week.
Along with other local Organisations we were presented with a certificate by the Mayor of Preston to Thank all of our volunteers.
We were also one of only 3 Organisations to achieve the Valuing Volunteers Quality Standard
and presented with a certificate, the accreditation lasts for 3 years.
